Lotus Herbals Safe Sun 3-in-1 Matte-Look Daily Sun Block Pa+++ SPF- 40 Review

Hello Everyone!!

As summer is just knocking at the door, sunscreen is one of the most ingredient part of out beauty regime. So today I’m gonna talk about the Lotus Herbals Sunscreen, which has been my recent favourite of all the sunscreens that I have used so far. This one is matte in texture and with 40 SPF, which is pretty good for Indian summer.

This is how it looks:

Quantity: 100gm

Price: Rs. 395 (Discounted price is Rs. 296)

Online availability/ Buy : Here

Shelf life: 3 years

Direction of use:

Clean you face and then apply liberally and evenly on face and exposed parts of the body (neck, arms, legs, etc.) before exposure to sun. Re-apply frequently. Apply preferably 30 minutes before going out in the sun.

Packaging:

This sunscreen comes in orange bottle with a flip open cover. The packaging is nothing fancy. It is spill proof and also travel friendly.

My opinion about the product:

I have literally changed more than 7-8 sunscreen lotions as none of it was suiting me. Either it was making my face too oily, or making my face fully white or was like a whole other layer on skin and things like that. Then I got the suggestion about this sunscreen from one of my friend, and heard that this doesn’t make the skin oily and is light on the skin.
It completely matched what I have heard of about this sunscreen. It is matte in texture, and thereby doesn’t make the skin oily at all, unlike most of the sunscreens available in the market. It is extremely light weight, and this brand also has a range of SPFs, so you have whole lot of options to choose the level of SPF you want depending on the place of your stay and the climate there.
Apart from it, the fragrance is also nice and mild. Overall, a big thumbs up for this sunscreen.

Pros and cons of this product:

Pros:

1. Matte texture, doesn’t make skin oily,
2. Light weight,
3. Price is decent, within budget,
4. Available in almost all local stores too,
5. Nice fragrance.

Cons:

1. Loaded with chemicals.

Thus I would rate it 4.5/5.
